"Ritka lehetőség olyan szakemberrel beszélgetni, aki tágabb kontextusában is értelmezi a szakmáját, legyen szó bármilyen területről. Ilene, aki nem előadást, hanem a beszélgetés lehetőségét hozta az ICG-irodába, ilyen szakember. Mekkora felelőssége van a tanácsadóknak a marginalizált rétegek bevonásában? Egyáltalán milyen eszközeink vannak? Mit tehetünk OD-szakemberként vagy akár egyénként is a változó paradigmák sodrásában, ahol a világ újból elfelejt szolidárisnak lenni?
Talán több kérdéssel távoztam, mint amivel érkeztem.
Nem egyszerű. Abban viszont Ilene megerősített bennünket, hogy minden változás és kihívás leküzdéséhez rendelkezünk a múltunkból eszközökkel ahhoz, hogy sikerre vigyen minket. Ha pedig csak a közösségeink szintjén is, de van értelme küzdenünk."
"It's rare to have the opportunity to talk with a professional who interprets their profession in a wider context as well, be it in any field. Ilene, who brought not a lecture but the opportunity of conversation to the ICG office, is such a professional. How much resposibility do consultants have in the inclusion of marginalized groups? What tools do we even have? What can we as OD professionals or as individuals do in these waves of changing paradigms, where the world again forgets solidarity?
I might have left with more questions than what I arrived with.
It's not easy. However, Ilene reassured us that to combat every change and challenge, we are already in possession of tools from our past that will help us succeed. And even if only on the level of our own communities, struggle is not in vain."

Dr. Ilene Wasserman - an internationally respected voice in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) - brings insight, depth, and practical strategies for OD professionals navigating these complex realities, as the question today isn't just how to build inclusive organizations, but why we must?
During this session we'd like to explore how Organization Development professionals can respond to rising polarization, exclusion, and systemic inequities by creating a safe space for connection and dignity. Together, we will reflect on what inclusion means today in our workplaces, in the World, in the U.S., and in Hungary.

Ilene Wasserman with over 30 years of international consulting and management experience. Her main areas of expertise include organisational development and change management, strategic planning, leadership development, and executive coaching. In her work, she has coached leaders and teams to deepen human connections and improve the performance of collaboration and communication, so they would be able to create resources out of diversity.
